Our History
Agency Inc was born in the spring of 2003, started by Matthew Morgan and a brilliant Creative Director called Peter Allen (1946-2004). The pair hatched a plan during a televised rugby match between England and Wales in their favourite local, to launch the first genuinely integrated agency, with absolutely no bias towards media channel or type of communications.
It worked!

Founding clients included Konica Minolta, Kempton Park Racecourse and The Rugby Football Union, as well as a scooter shop on The Fulham Road that gave us our very first brief. In the following year, Companies House chose Agency Inc out of 280 competing agencies, as well as Italian insurance giant Generali after a competitive pitch, and we’ve been retained by both clients ever since.
In the years that followed ‘integration’ became everyone’s favourite word. In the rush to become ‘more integrated’ ad agencies bought digital agencies, brand and design agencies began doing digital and direct marketing, creative boutiques became planning consultancies, and then digital agencies turned the tables and started buying ad agencies, and everyone became social media experts.
It’s still a confusing, fascinating and ever-changing communications landscape, but one thing remains the same – clients need people they can trust to position their brands in a way that will engage their target audiences and build intangible value into their propositions at every touch point.
We do that. And it still works.
