Mid-life crisis update

Our Managing Director Matt’s mid-life turmoil looks set to continue now that he’s fully recovered from a pathetic finger injury which he picked up in a swimming pool in France playing with a small child’s beach ball.

Since turning 40, Matt’s blind panic and refusal to gracefully accept being middle aged has led to him risking life and limb on the Cresta Run in St. Moritz, jumping off a mountain with a parachute in Turkey, as well as joining a vets rugby tour to Ireland in the early summer.

He also started arriving at work on a high pitched Vespa, which surely paves the way for a Harley Davidson in a few years’ time, perhaps the ultimate symbol of the great mid-life crisis.

Rumour has it that a relatively gentle course of gliding lessons is next on the agenda, followed by Matt running with the bulls in Pamplona next summer.

If you have any tips or suggestions for Matt (aka Richard Branson) please let us know.

Matt. Such a daredevil! I remember you pulling a hamstring playing park frisbee. Be careful on the chess board

Well done Matt….with myself now at 42 I think that sounds impressive! ;-)

A suggestion for what could be seen as a super-cool accompaniment to the current preoccupation with scooters and motorbikes: a Di Blasi folding moped, bicycle or adult tricycle.
The latter two both come in electric-assisted versions, suitable for life after the Harley and before the bath chair.

I know I really should be working very very hard today but I can’t stop reading and watching your vids and articles. Everything is looking beautiful.
