One giraffe, five web sites

We’ve just launched five shiny new web sites for Richard Manners, co-owner of The Orange Giraffe Pub Company, a fabulous group of traditional but exceptionally high quality pubs in south London.

Most people over a certain age will have a romantic notion of how pubs used to be, with oak panels, open fireplaces, hand pumped local ales, and a warm and friendly atmosphere.

If you thought such pubs had gone forever, think again. Richard and his brother George started the Orange Giraffe Pub Company in the late 90’s and they’ve remained absolutely true to their belief in the great British pub as their business has grown.

Imagine your favourite pub from 20 or 30 years ago, then mix in some of the finest wines, traditional ales, and absolutely superb food, and you might suddenly find yourself in The Atlas in Fulham, The Fox & Hounds in Battersea or The Swan in Chiswick.

We applaud Richard & his brother for preserving this important slice of our culture, and we’re delighted to have been asked to design and build these five web sites and the associated content management system that will allow each of the pub managers to, well, manage it for themselves.
