Our place in history

To mark 130 years of the Welsh Rugby Union we were asked to promote the release of a limited number of anniversary debenture seats at the cathedral of rugby, The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.

Our idea was to assemble a dream team of world class players from the current Welsh squad lining up alongside legends from the past 40 years, including Jonathan Davies, Gareth Edwards and JPR Williams.

A simple and engaging proposition, which was actually anything but simple to reproduce in our studio, pieced together from multiple images drawn from a vast library of archive shots. Fortunately, it was a labour of love for Geraint, our Senior Artworker from North Wales, who worked evenings and weekends to retouch and perfect every detail of his masterpiece.

The direct mail pack, sent to an exclusive list of high earning Welsh fans and business owners in Wales, contained a brochure with a sliding cover to magically reveal your potential seat amongst the gods of Welsh rugby.

We also created digital display ads, splash pages and national press ads to raise awareness during the 6 Nations Championship. Now all we need is a Grand Slam…
